Why SupBond?

The only structural adhesive engineered specifically for professional smartphone repair businesses.

Superior Bond

SupBond delivers a high-strength structural bond designed to replicate the fit and finish of factory assembly. Its optimized adhesion performance ensures components remain firmly secured without lifting, shifting, or premature failure—even after repeated use and long-term aging.

High Elasticity

Unlike rigid adhesives, SupBond features controlled elasticity that absorbs shock and vibration during daily use. This flexible bonding layer helps reduce stress on bonded components, improving resistance to impact, drops, and thermal expansion.

Wide Compatibility

SupBond is formulated for broad compatibility across common smartphone repair applications. It supports reliable bonding for a wide range of components and materials, reducing the need for multiple adhesives in daily repair workflows.

  • Android screen bonding
  • Back glass bonding

Safe & Eco-Friendly

SupBond is designed with both technician safety and device integrity in mind. Its non-toxic formulation is compliant with international environmental and safety standards including RoHS and MSDS. SupBond delivers reliable performance without compromising technician health or device materials.

FAQs

How long does SupBond take to cure and achieve full strength?

SupBond achieves initial tack within 2-5 minutes for component positioning, with handling strength developing within 30 minutes. Full cure and maximum bond strength are achieved within 24 hours at room temperature.

Is SupBond compatible with both Android and iPhone devices?

Yes, SupBond is formulated for broad compatibility across all major smartphone brands including Android devices (Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc.) and iPhones. Its optimized formulation bonds effectively to various materials including glass, plastic, metal, and composite surfaces commonly found in smartphone construction. However, always refer to specific device repair guides for optimal application techniques.

Can this adhesive bond screen brackets?

While it is possible to bond phone brackets due to the small bonding area, the bond strength does not meet factory-level structural requirements. This limitation is common across the industry. For bracket bonding, a dedicated AB adhesive is recommended for better performance.

Can SupBond be used for other electronics repairs beyond smartphones?

While specifically engineered for smartphone repair, SupBond's properties make it suitable for other small electronics applications including tablet display bonding, smartwatch component securing, and small consumer electronics assembly. Its controlled elasticity and strong adhesion work well with delicate electronic components. However, for specialized applications, we recommend consulting our technical team or testing on non-critical components first.

When should a dispensing machine be used, and when is a glue gun more suitable? What's the efficiency difference?
  • For back glass refurbishment, bonding the mid-frame to the glass back cover involves a larger application area, making a dispensing machine more efficient.
  • For broken screen refurbishment, the gap between the screen and the mid-frame is very narrow. In this case, a manual or electric glue gun offers better control and precision.
  • The glue is supplied with two needle options: 22G (blue) and 18G (green)
  • Each has a different tip diameter and flow rate, allowing flexible application for different phone models and repair scenarios.
What safety precautions should technicians take when using SupBond?

While SupBond is non-toxic and RoHS/MSDS compliant, we recommend standard safety practices: 1) Work in a well-ventilated area, 2) Wear nitrile gloves to prevent skin contact, 3) Use safety glasses when applying, 4) Avoid contact with eyes, and 5) Keep out of reach of children. The adhesive is designed with technician safety in mind but proper handling ensures optimal results and safety.

Why don't you offer a 50 ml version of this glue?

Structural glue is not used very frequently during phone repairs. A larger volume is often not consumed in one go, which can lead to nozzle clogging. Each reuse may require replacing or trimming the needle. If the tube volume is too large, unused glue inside may naturally cure over time and become unusable. A smaller volume helps reduce waste and ensures consistent performance.
